About Us

Brenda Hinkson-Johnson, PHR is the President and Senior Consultant of The HR Planning Group. Brenda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications from Queens University, Charlotte, NC and is a certified Human Resources Professional (PHR.) Additionally, she holds a certificate in International Human Resources Management complimented by several years of mergers and acquisitions experience.

She is competent in several areas of human resources:

Prior to establishing The HR Planning Group, Brenda built and managed a human resources department for an international glass company. Brenda has worked for large, publicly-held as well as privately-owned companies in a variety of industries which include large banking and manufacturing industries including retail sales. Brenda’s broad range of skills and background make her particularly effective to consult in almost any organization environment.

Additionally, the consulting team has more than 20 years of human resources leadership and management experience in various industries including municipalities which creates a dynamic group of human resources experts.
